There are many familiar faces to be found in Grace Hall. Smiling professors trod through the halls laden with heavy books. Students giggle as they pass the job boards. Still others stroll by with confident gaits, their soles squeaking on the glossy tile. There are people who look young in the offices.

Students embark on annual service trip to poverty-stricken West Virginia

The annual service trip Project Appalachia focused on the hills of West Virginia and allowed students to participate in service work over spring break. Several towns in West Virginia are floundering. Excessive strip mining, floods and loss of jobs have left the communities in a bad place.

Men’s lacrosse season has started

Orders reverberated off of the dirt, while ivory colored sticks cut through the crisp air. The players were running like maddened soldiers, their eyes focused on the movements of the white careening ball. The temperature was low but the players didn't complain.

Patrick Hutton more than just dirty sneakers

Patrick Hutton has sneakers that look like old pizza. They are worn from years of pacing over the mud, rocks and hills of the Pennsylvania countryside of the campus that he calls home. Hutton is a cross-country runner and his soles are proof of his deliberate mission to not only to run a good race, but also to win in the race of life.

It is often feared and loathed. It stands completely straight, sitting in dust until it is stepped on then clank. The scale is in use. It is time for the annual Weigh to Go contest, a contest that weighs participants before and after winter break, to promote healthy diet choices.
