Imagine a room full of newspaper cartoonists shot down for their artwork. Imagine a foreign country threatening a movie from being produced in the United States.

By this point in the semester, college students everywhere have met their breaking point and are literally in dire need of winter break. I know I speak for many when I say that the struggle is real.

It’s normal to hear some Americans every year in December engage in the controversy of whether we should say “Merry Christmas” or “Happy Holidays.” This argument falls right in the midst of the political and cultural battles of the saying ‘War on Christmas.’

It is getting closer to birthday, when I turn 21. It is known that most college students drink before they are 21. Some people anticipate being 21. It is the time of celebration for people this age because it matches up with them becoming an adult. Some parents even take their children who are becoming adults out. Many of my college friends are either a junior like myself or a senior.
