Mark Sanchez delievers for the Eagles

Due to the clavicle fracture to Nick Foles, all eyes were on back up quarterback Mark Sanchez. On Monday night football, one of the NFL’s biggest stages, Sanchez did not disappoint. During his first start since 2012, Sanchez threw for 322 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in a 45-21 win over the Carolina Panthers.

Guarino sisters help serve up a great season

Women’s volleyball remains undefeated in their conference. Could this record be assisted by the help of a sisterly bond? Kelly and Amy Gaurino both play for the women’s volleyball team. Field hockey season ends at CSAC championship

In the team’s final game of the season the Cabrini field hockey team lost in the Colonial States Athletic Conference championship game (CSAC) 5-1 to the Gwynedd Mercy University Griffins for the third year in a row.

Men’s and women’s swim teams fall to King’s College

Cabrini’s men and women’s swim teams hosted a tri-meet at the Dixon Center pool this past Saturday, Nov. 1. This meet had featured Cedar Crest College along with King’s College.

76ers enter season with young leaders

The NBA season is underway and the Sixers are now in their second season under head coach Brett Brown. By the looks of it the Sixers won’t be a very good next season considering they don’t have much experience or leadership from their current players.

Men’s and women’s swim teams beat University of Pittsburgh-Bradford

Over at the Dixon center, this past Friday night, the Cabrini swim team waited on their opponent, University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, to arrive at the pool. As soon as the other team arrived, they only had a short time to warm up, and get ready, before they had to start the meet.

Student athletes agree Cabrini keeps it gender equal

Men’s and women’s athletics at Cabrini seem to be equal, according to players. Division III athletes are different than others in higher divisions. They do not get compensated financially for what they achieve and produce athletically. They are expected to be students first and athletes second.

The State of the Eagles after the bye week

After a 5-1 start to the season, the Eagles are tied atop the NFC East and tied for the NFL’s best record. After an impressive start to the season, many wonder if the Eagles have earned the right to be considered an elite team after nail-biting finishes and inconsistencies from the offense and defense.
