Donations and contributions are a very important aspect for every college or university. Private schools like Cabrini rely on these donations in order to prosper as an institution. This year, Cabrini is trying to make up for the sharp drop in donations last year.

Some say that it is a threat to our national security. The question is would it violate our rights if the program was disassembled? The men's tennis team lost to the defending conference champs Marywood on April 14 with a match play 5-4. It was a disappointing loss for the Cavaliers as they head into the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference Individual Championships on April 20 at West End Racquet Club.

New Jersey legalizes gay unions

The New Jersey Supreme Court ruled that homosexual couples will be granted the same rights as heterosexual couples, on Wednesday, Oct. 25. However, the choice to making same-sex unions legal will be up to the lawmakers. According to the Washing Post, the new law allows same-sex couples healthcare benefits if a partner is a state worker as well and the right to inherit possessions if the deceased partner leaves behind no will.

One cannot ignore the eerie feeling that takes over as they approach the massive stone walls of the Eastern State Penitentiary located in the Fairmont section of Philadelphia. Anxious spectators gather at the entrance and nervously chat about what lies ahead in the Terror Behind the Walls.

New athletic website unveiled

Cabrini's new Athletic website is scheduled to be unveiled to the public this week. The site includes new features and gives fans up-to-the-minute highlights of their favorite Cavalier teams. Matthew Holmes, Webmaster of the marketing and communications department, said that the development of the new website was a joint effort between the athletics and the marketing and communications departments.
