Women have come a long way from the days of not being allowed to attend school or hold positions of power in the work place. So then is it so surprising that in the next 10 years women could be teammates with men in the NBA? David Stern, chief of the NBA, told Ian Thompsen of Sports Illustrated in December that he thinks women could end up playing in the NBA within the next 10 years.

One of Cabrini College's professors celebrated 50 years of service to the college on Thursday, Jan. 21. Dr. Joseph Romano commemorated his 50 year anniversary at Cabrini by traveling to New York City for a reception in his honor. Many alumni, friends and colleagues attended to enjoy and honor this great achievement.

Former Cabrini College softball players reunited with the current team for a light-hearted rivalry on Saturday, Oct. 10. The Cabrini alumni team lost by one run to the current Cavaliers, ending the game with a score of 7-6. This was the first ever alumni softball game to be played under softball coach Lisa McGregor.

Fair Trade Walleyball:

A sense of excitement filled the Dixon Center as the Third Annual Fair Trade Wallyball tournament kicked off on Tuesday, Oct. 6. It started off with 16 teams but only one came out victorious. This was not just an ordinary tournament; it was also a great way to raise awareness for fair trade.
