Due to the clavicle fracture to Nick Foles, all eyes were on back up quarterback Mark Sanchez. On Monday night football, one of the NFL’s biggest stages, Sanchez did not disappoint. During his first start since 2012, Sanchez threw for 322 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in a 45-21 win over the Carolina Panthers.

Kelly and Amy Gaurino both play for the women’s volleyball team. Kelly is a sophomore aspiring to major in business administration. Her older sister, Amy is a senior majoring in early childhood education and special education.
In the team’s final game of the season the Cabrini field hockey team lost in the Colonial States Athletic Conference championship game (CSAC) 5-1 to the Gwynedd Mercy University Griffins for the third year in a row.
Kerry Anne Farrell is a junior marketing major and midfielder for the field hockey team. Farrell is more than just an athlete, as a hard worker on and off the field. Farrell has played field hockey since she was a little girl. This season marks her 10th year playing.
Cabrini’s men and women’s swim teams hosted a tri-meet at the Dixon Center pool this past Saturday, Nov. 1. This meet had featured Cedar Crest College along with King’s College.
The NBA season is underway and the Sixers are now in their second season under head coach Brett Brown. By the looks of it the Sixers won’t be a very good next season considering they don’t have much experience or leadership from their current players.
Over at the Dixon center, this past Friday night, the Cabrini swim team waited on their opponent, University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, to arrive at the pool. As soon as the other team arrived, they only had a short time to warm up, and get ready, before they had to start the meet.
Men’s and women’s athletics at Cabrini seem to be equal, according to players.
Division III athletes are different than others in higher divisions. They do not get compensated financially for what they achieve and produce athletically. They are expected to be students first and athletes second.
After a 5-1 start to the season, the Eagles are tied atop the NFC East and tied for the NFL’s best record. After an impressive start to the season, many wonder if the Eagles have earned the right to be considered an elite team after nail-biting finishes and inconsistencies from the offense and defense.
