Military resumes airlift from Haiti to Florida The U.S. military early last week has resumed airlift of severely injured Haitians to Florida hospitals. Before the suspension, the U.S military was airlifting hundreds of Haitians to the hospitals. Florida was taking in the majority of the injured and becoming overwhelmed with patients.

Guatemala is viewed as a dangerous place to go. Well, that's what my mom thought. O’Hora moves into head coach position

With the departure of the former head coach of the cross country team, a new coach, Tom O'Hora, took over the position for track and field to lead the team through a "promising" year. The team is looking forward to some more All-Americans to continue the Cabrini tradition.

Field hockey loses in final minutes

The field hockey team lost in the final minutes to Alvernia University on Thursday, Oct. 26, with a final score of 1-2. "Overall the game was good, we just wanted more people to score," Jackie Neary, head coach, said. "I would have loved it if they moved the ball more.

600 miles away from home: Cabrini student values lessons learned at Cabrini

It can take me anywhere from 10 to 12 hours, depending on traffic, construction, and which highway I take, for me to get home. I get asked the question "Why Cabrini?" a lot, and when I say a lot, it basically means everyone. I chose to go far from home based on a feeling.

‘Pigs in Flight’ takes the win at Battle of the Bands

Battle of the Bands returned to Cabrini College with four performers Tuesday, Oct. 13 with "Pigs in Flight" coming out victorious. Matt Santry, the host of the evening, introduced the three competing bands: "5point," "Odacious Green" and "Pigs in Flight," to the crowd of about 50 people.

Philadelphia now has a new venue to show off local photographic art. The Crane building, a former warehouse, is now home to the Philadelphia Photo Art Center (PPAC). The Philadelphia Photo Art Center is a non-profit organization created to promote art within the city.

Kings of Leon suddenly captures college crowd

Kings of Leon is made up of three brothers, Caleb, Nathan and Jared Followill, and their cousin Matthew Followill. Over the past year they have risen from an unheard band to playing on the radio almost every hour. This Tennessee-bred alternative-rock band has jumped over the Atlantic from European rock stars to America's new rock sensations.

This is not a love story

"500 Days of Summer", directed by Marc Webb, is not your typical love story because there is no love story to tell. It's about a boy, Tom Hansen, played by Joseph Gordan-Levitt, who meets a girl, Summer Finn ,played by Zooey Deschanel, and the summer they spent together: dating, being friends with benefits, or whatever their so called "label" was; until the day Summer breaks up with Hansen, and ends their fling.

Campus shows contemporary works of Tom Baker

Tom Baker, assistant professor of printmaking at Monmouth University, shows off his work in his exhibit "Print and Process," located in the Grace and Joseph Gorevin Fine Art Gallery. The exhibit features 20 different works compiled together with warm colors and unusual symbol pairings.

Resident Assistant (RA): Whatever it may be, unlocking the door because someone forgot their key, resolving roommate issues between roommates who seem to disagree about something, the Resident Assistant is always there to help. Public Safety: Public Safety are the ones that students can go to when their ID is not working or their car gets trapped in the snow.
