Battle of the Bands returned to Cabrini College with four performers Tuesday, Oct. 13 with "Pigs in Flight" coming out victorious. Matt Santry, the host of the evening, introduced the three competing bands: "5point," "Odacious Green" and "Pigs in Flight," to the crowd of about 50 people.

Philadelphia now has a new venue to show off local photographic art. The Crane building, a former warehouse, is now home to the Philadelphia Photo Art Center (PPAC). The Philadelphia Photo Art Center is a non-profit organization created to promote art within the city.

Kings of Leon is made up of three brothers, Caleb, Nathan and Jared Followill, and their cousin Matthew Followill. Over the past year they have risen from an unheard band to playing on the radio almost every hour. This Tennessee-bred alternative-rock band has jumped over the Atlantic from European rock stars to America's new rock sensations.

"500 Days of Summer", directed by Marc Webb, is not your typical love story because there is no love story to tell. It's about a boy, Tom Hansen, played by Joseph Gordan-Levitt, who meets a girl, Summer Finn ,played by Zooey Deschanel, and the summer they spent together: dating, being friends with benefits, or whatever their so called "label" was; until the day Summer breaks up with Hansen, and ends their fling.

Tom Baker, assistant professor of printmaking at Monmouth University, shows off his work in his exhibit "Print and Process," located in the Grace and Joseph Gorevin Fine Art Gallery. The exhibit features 20 different works compiled together with warm colors and unusual symbol pairings.
