The Lady Cavs softball team headed into their doubleheader against Gwynedd-Mercy College with a seven-game win streak. But seven is not a lucky number sometimes. That was the case on Tuesday, April 2, as the Lady Griffins swept the Lady Cavs in the doubleheader, taking Game 1, 5-1, and Game 2, 9-1.
The Lady Cavs took the field to face Ursinus College in search of their first win. With conference play rapidly approaching, they couldn’t secure their first victory of the season after a slow start, falling to Ursinus, 12-7, on Tuesday, March 19.
Head coach Steve Colfer is the reason that the team continues to win the CSAC titles. Pushing the men hard every day in the weight room and on the field pays off during the games. The team’s stamina and ball control is outstanding and let’s not forget what wins championships: defense.

The Cabrini women's volleyball team is now 8-1 in CSAC play after a 3-0 victory over conference rival Keystone College on Tuesday, Oct. 16 on their annual "Dig Pink Night" supporting breast cancer.
The women’s tennis team drew a fairly big crowd at their home match against CSAC rival Gwynedd-Mercy College on Friday, Oct. 5. Despite the energy, Cabrini was unable to weather the storm as Gwynedd-Mercy would go 7-0 in CSAC games, beating Cabrini 9-0.
The College of New Jersey Lions, ranked third in the nation, provided a challenge for the upstart Lady Cavs. In the end, the Lady Cavs fell to the Lions in a 5-1 defeat.
The women’s soccer team lost to Arcadia University by a score of 2-0. The Cavs took home field at noon on Saturday, Sept. 15. A crowd of 127 filled the stands to watch Maddy Edwards protect her home turf as she tended the Cabrini net.
