Field Hockey earns win as team against Rosemont

The field hockey team charged into a tight game against Rosemont on Tuesday, Oct. 15. They had a muddy field underfoot and gray skies overhead but that did not stop them from winning. The first half started out with a grizzly battle to score the first goal.

Annual AIDS/HIV walk to be held Oct. 20

Organizers of the upcoming AIDS/HIV walk are asking for support on Sunday, Oct. 20, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. For the past eight years, groups of students formed together to make a difference. The group of students will venture an eight-mile walk in Philadelphia.

Beautiful weather provides backdrop for family fun

Family Weekend was a success as it provided a weekend of enjoyment for all who attended. Many helped plan and run the event, including: Student and Campus Activities, Residence Life Staff, Campus Activities and Programming Board, Student Government Association and Alumni Affairs.

Welcome to Adobe GoLive 6 Field Hockey: Cabrini's women's field hockey team keeps playoff hopes alive with a 2-0 win over Rosemont this past week. The Lady Cavs placed sixth in the PAC at the end of their Oct. 14 sports week. Team Record: 5-10 overall, 4-3 PAC.

So often we forget about the things that matter in life and focus on those entities that consume our daily lives. But every now and again we are reminded of what matters most in life - love. RHA bridges gap between residents, administration

Cabrini has developed a new association, the Residence Hall Association. The RHA was formed to handle any issues or problems residents may encounter. "Student government wasn't able to handle all the situations of our residents," the new adviser of the association, Mike Quickel, said.

SAC requirement for athletic department

Collegiate athletes have their own affiliation called the Student Athletic Committee, which is based on a three fold focus: standing up for the rights and needs of athletes, getting involved with campus activities and working on volunteer duties in the community.
