Software limits students’ printing

Another life as a soldier

Not having direct contact with any soldiers in Iraq, all I can do to understand life in the gloomy eyes of war is browse Internet photo galleries, watch the news and read war stories. I fully support the troops. I cannot, however, fully understand their experience.

Students march in global rally

Wearing two pairs of pants, two pairs of socks, three shirts, a heavy winter coat and a scarf but no gloves, senior Renee Di Pietro marched the streets of Philadelphia rallying for peace. The Philadelphia rally was part of the largest global peace rally in world history, which sprawled from San Francisco to Rome on Saturday, Feb.

Save the trees, flush twice

Smell Nostalgic

A freshly cut Christmas tree, candles burning atop the oven, the bakery, egg nog and the rush as a brisk breeze brings aromas of the first snowfall. Almost every holiday memory is triggered by the perennial scents of the season. Every year the familiar scents of the winter months bring joy and excitement through memories and promise.

Volleyball plays as one despite loss

After losing the first two matches against Neumann last Thursday, the Lady Cavs won a close third match but lost the crucial fourth match, leading to a 3-1 defeat. The conference loss brings the Lady Cavs' record to 7-12 overall and 2-6 in the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference.

Fecal Phantom plagues Cabrini

An unknown suspect, or suspects, defecated in the Dixon House and the Cabrini Apartment Complex recently. On the weekend of Jan. 25, human feces was left in the ground floor bathroom of the Dixon House. Along with smashed Christmas ornaments scattered in the common area and a large tree limb obstructing the main entrance, the feces filled the bottom floor with a "horrible, almost unbearable stench," according to Gina Bocelli, a sophomore Dixon House resident.

NYC plans to ring in the New Year with a party to top all

New Years Eve will be celebrated in its usual fashion this year, as the nation embraces a patriotic mindset. With pyrotechnics and entertainment famous for 97 years, New York City will lead the world once again in welcoming the New Year with its Times Square celebration.
