Professors and students alike are skeptical about whether it would improve education here on campus. Universities have been recording lectures digitally and then putting them online for students to download onto their iPods, desktops and laptops.

McDonald, No.17 midfielder, was selected to be the only captain for the '05 season and had his hands full with a notoriously rowdy team.

Men's soccer fought fiercely against nationally-ranked Eastern, but eventually fell with a final score of 3-1. Fifteen minutes into the first, Eastern flexed its muscle when Lance Burris, a sophomore forward, scored. Cabrini's defense kept them in the game by keeping the score at 1-0 at halftime.

Gas guzzlers taking up too much space

In these days of the three-dollar-gallon of gas, I find myself wondering, "What do you carry around in that truck, your ego?" I cannot imagine why anyone would want to put upwards of $50 in their gas tank, especially when you could be spending it on all of this season's cute shoes? Soccer moms tend to say that their big two-parking-space SUVs make them feel safe.

Gail Katherine Ziegler Staff Writer gkz722@cabrini.edu Men's soccer cleaned house in their Pennsylvania Athletic Conference games against Marywood with a final score of 4-0 and Immaculata with a result of 2-0. These games shifted their record to 4-10-2 overall and 2-5 in the PAC.

Long homecoming weekend for Cavaliers

Men's soccer continued their season by adding one win and two losses, putting their overall record as 2-10-2 and their PAC record as 0-5. The team faced Widener, Gwynedd-Mercy and Rutgers-Camden. On Sept. 27, the men traveled to Widener to add one more win to their quaking season.

Women's tennis finished the week of Oct. 1, 2005 with three wins and lead the PAC in the quest for playoffs with a record of 7-0. The women proved themselves a superior team with scores of 7-2, 9-0 and 9-0 to Misericordia, Wesley and Eastern respectively. The women traveled to Misericordia on Sept.

The men's soccer team was disappointed again when going up against Neumann with a final score of 2-0 on Sept. 24. The first half ended with no score but three minutes into the second half, Neumann scored.

Cabrini falls to Misericordia

The men's soccer team fell to Misericordia 5-1 at the Sept. 17 match, which crushed the men's hopes of revenging last year's close match. Misericordia came out firing with a shot that deflected off of a Cavalier into the goal five minutes into the game. Two minutes later, Misericordia capitalized off of a penalty kick making the score 2-0.

Gossip is heating up with rumors of a movie spin-off of the hit '80s show "Dallas," according to ultimatedallas.com. The release date is still to be announced in 2007. 20th Century Fox is putting the film together with producers Michael Costigan and David Jacobs.

Recently, a group of students went on a retreat to look inside themselves to evaluate their relationships with others, God and themselves. There were 23 people involved in the trip: six student leaders, 15 students, Father Michael Bielecki and Laura Gorgol, the campus minister.

When Dr. Angie Corbo, a professor of English and communication, gets home from the grocery store, her dog, Murray, immediately starts rifling through bags to find the treat he knows that his mommy brought home for him.
