Cabrini’s Theatre seating not adequate for audience members

One thing that can be looked forward to every spring is the Cabrini College Theater’s spring musical production. This year audiences will be able to enjoy the Steven Sondheim musical, “Merrily We Roll Along.” The theater program at Cabrini is in our opinion one of the most hardworking and dedicated programs we have seen. It works with its small space and produces an extraordinary show creating full houses and then some every night.

New vice president of enrollment ‘breaks the mold’

Cabrini College has a new vice president for enrollment management. He started his position in July. Dennis Kelly, who has over 30 years of educational experience, is one of the last two people appointed by President Marie Angelella George to form the new leadership team.

Alumni ‘Transition’ into new phase of life

A few recent college graduates and upperclassmen from a wide variety of colleges and universities came together and created a new radio magazine for all of those racing towards a new phase in life. The hour-long podcast is called “Transitions” and it was originally started in April by young adults coming from schools such as Cabrini College, Arcadia University, Millersville University, Penn State University and Temple University just to name a few.

Soccer team ‘kicks off’ fundraising

The soccer team held a fundraising dance in Grace Hall on April 22. The proceeds are going towards a team trip over seas to play in a soccer tournament. The group plans to travel out of the country in 2011.

Chaplain to leave Cabrini

For six years, Cabrini has been the home of the Rev. Michael Bielecki who starting working at the college in 2002. On Feb. 18, Bielecki found out that he will be transferred to a new position within his order under a new superior. His last day at Cabrini is June 15.
