On April 18, Cabrini College was pleased to announce the hiring of the new men's head basketball coach, Matthew Macciocca. Macciocca is an alum of Allentown College where he received his Bachelors degree in 1996. His track record includes playing throughout his career at Allentown, a three-year stint at his alma mater as assistant coach followed by him serving as an administrative assistant to the men's team at Wake Forest University.

he Philadelphia Phillies have been off to a successful start as they are challenging the rest of the teams in the league for the coveted chance to head to the World Series. Since opening day, they have played legendary teams such as the Atlanta Braves, New York Mets, and are starting their next series against the Colorado Rockies.

Four wins and no losses. This is the undefeated record of the women's lacrosse team. The Lady Cavs have been tearing up the field with remains of teams such as Immaculata, Neumann, and Rosemont. The women of Cabrini have upped their level of playing skills as well as teamwork by making the schedule more rigorous than any other season in the history of their program.

It is said, "Some people come into our lives, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never the same." Seniors of the men's basketball team have realized how true this quote is after such a life-changing and rigorous season. As their final season as Cavaliers approached, none of these young men expected to have to endure the ups and downs that the 2004-05 season had in store for them.
