P.in.K hosts self-defense workshop

The Dixon Center was packed with people this Saturday. However this time it was not the lacrosse team occupying the gym. A crowd of unfamiliar faces loaded into the Dixon Center Dance Studio as P.in.K, Cabrini’s self-defense class was held from 1p.m. to 3 p.m.

First annual Leadership Summit teaches students tips for success

Sleeping in is never an option for student leaders. The First Annual Student Leadership Summit was held on Friday, Oct. 10, better recognized as the dean’s fall holiday. This enabled busy student leaders to earn the LEADStrong points they had been striving for or to discover ways to better their leadership roles in clubs with little conflict from their typically busy schedules.

College addresses concerns for physically disabled in fire drills and emergencies

Fire drills and emergency situations for students is a task that needs to be practiced to help public safety in knowing what to do in a real situation and how to handle the incident if occurs on Cabrini’s campus. This is especially important for those students with mobility issues.

Changes made to CAV Cash

This year, CAV Cash and meal exchange can no longer be used at locations that had this system in the past.

Dixon House to be restored

Dr. Donald Taylor, president of Cabrini, and the school’s board of trustees decided last week to renovate the Dixon House Residence Hall, which was shut down in September 2011 due to the extensive growth of mold.

Alpha Delta Gamma receives national award

Alpha Delta Gamma is currently the only Fraternity at Cabrini. This past summer the chapter received the “Most Improved Chapter” award at the National Convention, which took place in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
