Cabrini community eagerly awaits Night at the Phillies

Cabrini College students, staff, faculty, alumni, friends and family eagerly await the 7th annual ‘Night at the Phillies’ game to cheer on the Philadelphia Phillies.

The game is on Friday, September 7, 2012 against the Colorado Rockies. The Cabrini fans will not be hard to miss with their matching red shirts and knit hats. These custom shirts are available in sizes small to XXXL. T-shirts are available to pick up in the Office Advancement on the 2nd floor of the mansion.

The fans will be proudly watching the Cabrini College chorus perform the national anthem.  Along with that, in the fifth inning the Cabrini College dance team will be dancing on the field with the Phillie Phanatic.

Most of the Cabrini community will be sitting in the Pavillon Deck, sections 306-310, and the Terrace deck, sections 412-415. Ticket prices range from 23-25 dollars.

The Alumni will celebrate this event by going to a happy hour before the Phillies game. They will be going to XFINITY Live across from the stadiums third base entrance. A guardian must accompany anyone under the age of 21.

Cabrini College, Verizon Wireless and the Phillies will be honoring students in high school who are involved in their community while achieving good grades. Students have written an essay of how they practicing social justice and being responsible.This night is set to be unforgettable bringing the Cabrini College community together.  First-year students will receive a ticket to the game and transportation to the game at no charge.
