Softball team finally has homefield advantage

After years of traveling around the area to play home games and hold practices, the Cabrini women's softball team can now call a field on Valley Forge Military Academy and College's campus home. The field was dedicated in a ceremony Thursday afternoon. The ceremony not only celebrated the team's first home game on the new field, but also the partnership between Cabrini and Valley Forge.

Week in Review

Men's Lacrosse The men's lacrosse team battled Wesley on April 6 to win 9-5. The next game for the team is set for 3:30 p.m. on April 11 at Villa Julie. After losing its first two games of the season, the team has now won eight consecutive contests. Women's Lacrosse The women beat Neumann 13-10 at home on April 4.

Men’s lacrosse defeats Wesley

With a tie going into the fourth quarter, fans were on the edge of their seats to see which team would score the victory. When the game was over, the Cabrini men's lacrosse team walked off the field with the win. The Cavaliers defeated Wesley, one of their biggest rivals, on Saturday, April 6, by a score of 9-5.

Golf team has high hopes for the future

The Cabrini golf team has seen a few changes that should improve their score and make them into an even more competitive team than they already are. The golf team now practices on harder courses at private country clubs. Tony Verde, the coach for the golf feels that the use of St.

Health service office keeps costs down

Your health While at college, students rely on the health service office to be there in case of an illness. Often students do not know how much they are going to have to pay when they walk into this office. After a visit to this office a student may see a charge on their bill from Cabrini under the category of health service fee.

On the road to victory

With nicer weather on the horizon, everyone is looking for a good excuse to be outside instead of cooped up in front of a computer. What better excuse than to go watch the performance of the men's lacrosse team? With a 6-2 record as of Tuesday, the Cavaliers have had their work cut out for them, but they have proven themselves as a strong team who can get the job done.

Day awarded Coach of the Year

Reggie Day, head coach of men's and women's tennis, knows that he is not much in the world of collegiate tennis without his players. Although he is a respected coach with nearly 33 years of experience scattered throughout the United States, Day said, "I don't play a single point of the matches out there.

Former player is now volleyball coach

The women's volleyball team will start next season with a new coach. Though Trish Arnold is not a new face for the team having her as coach will be different for the Cavalier's team. With high hopes after last year's poor record the team looks to the new coach for a change of attitude and to turn the season around.

Penn Relays run into Philly at the end of April

The 2002 Penn Relays, the oldest and largest relay carnival in the world, is right around the corner. This year the Penn Relays is celebrating its 108 running on Thursday, April 25, Friday, April 26 and Saturday, April 27. The relays always fall on the last weekend of April with this year being no different.
