Abel earns all-tournament team

Sophomore libero Courtney Abel earned all-tournament team honors this past weekend at the Franklin & Marshall College volleyball tournament. In their victory against Stevenson University, Abel led the defense and collected a team high of 12 digs for the match, and overall she collected 32 digs for the weekend.

Cavs reunite for annual alumni lacrosse game

Cavaliers, old and new, gathered together on Friday, Sept. 25 at the Edith Robb Dixon Field for the annual Cabrini College men's lacrosse alumni game. On the brisk autumn night, the current team beat the alumni 13-11 in the yearly battle. Although it was just a fall ball match, the stands were packed with alumni, students, parents, family and friends for the yearly tradition.

Poretta helps soccer team one save at a time

Junior education major and goal keeper Gianna Porretta has been playing soccer since the age of five. Porretta loves the sport and has excelled in every aspect. Growing up in New Jersey, Porretta started all four years in high school and holds her school's record for most career shut outs.

Lady Cavs fall to nationally ranked Eastern in 3-1 loss

The Cabrini College women's volleyball team lost to long-time school rival No. 24 Eastern University on Thursday, Sept. 10 in the Nerney Field House. The Lady Cavs fought a long, hard battle against Eastern but fell short on a 3-1 loss. Senior setter Lizzie Williams recorded 26 assists during the match and notched six kills on just 10 attempts.
