The Cabrini women’s tennis team defeated the Immaculata University Mighty Macs on the opponent’s home courts with the final score of 5-3, on Friday Oct 3. With another CSAC win, the Cavs hold a perfect record of 7-0 in the league and a 10-3 overall record.

After beating Widener University in their home opener 3-0, the Cabrini volleyball team traveled to Washington, D.C. for the weekend to play in the 18th annual Catholic University Guetle Invitational. The Lady Cavs had a successful tournament, leaving with a 3-1 record.

The Cabrini cross-country teams participated in the Highlander Invitational on Sept. 6 at Cairn University. The men’s team ran the 8K circuit, placing 9th out of 14 teams. Junior Pete Lyden led the men’s team with a time of 34:01 and placed 52st overall. Freshman Hugo Ballon finished 53nd right behind Lyden with a time of 34:09. Senior Ernest Ahweza finished right behind them both placing 54th with a time of 34:13 and Senior Rashid Kulaib placing 75th finishing with a time of 38:50.

Cross-country is beginning its 32 season with a new coach and an influx of new runners. In preparation for the coming season, runners have been practicing many mornings and taking guidance from their new coach, Coach Joe Dare.

The Cabrini roller hockey team closed regular season play with and 8-4 win over Drexel (T2) on Sunday, April 6. The win reinforces the Cavs hopes in the playoffs, bumping them up to fourth place in the league standings and ending the season on a five-game win streak.

Men’s and women’s Cabrini CSAC basketball champions got the opportunity to run the sixth annual Special Olympics basketball clinic at the Nerney Field House.… Read More

Aaron Walton-Moss was named the National Association of Basketball Coaches Division III player of the year. Aaron would like to thank his coaches, Cabrini and family members. “Without Cabrini I wouldn’t be here today, I am so grateful,” Walton-Moss said.
