Snake sightings reported in freshmen residence hall

“Someone yelled snake,” Kim Pepenella, freshman political science and communication major, said. Late last week, Pepenella was in her dorm room in Xavier Hall when she heard someone shout. Snakes had been spotted coming from underneath the base board trim. A student down the hall found a snake in her room. Pepenella said that she Googled the type of snake that was found in the dorm to find out if the snakes were poisonous or not.

Miscavage returns to Cabrini as new education instructor

Meet Karen Miscavage from Rossford, PA. She is an instructor in the education department. Miscavage always wanted to be a teacher, dating back to her childhood days playing school with her neighbors.

Local store owners and families come together to enjoy Bryn Mawr Day

On Saturday, Sept. 6, local stores participated in the area's fifth annual Bryn Mawr Day. Bryn Mawr Day is an event that was put together to raise awareness of the smaller stores in the area.
