The women’s softball team has been nationally ranked for the past three years and ready for another season this coming spring.
Karen Pelkey will is the head coach, for the second year in a row. The first two years here she was assistant coach. Pelkey, or Pelk as everyone on the team calls her, is just as excited for this softball season as her team. Last season, they proved how strong and determined they were to succeed and are ready to do it all over again. Even though there is more pressure on the team to win this year, their strategy does not change.
“Play each game better than we did the last, winning the game one inning at a time,”
