The Pennsylvania New Economy Technology Scholarship (NETS) Program provides scholarships for Pennsylvania students who are pursuing higher education and training in science and technology fields. Two different scholarships- the SciTech Scholarship (up to $3,000) and the Technology Scholarship (up to $1,000) are awarded through this program.
To qualify a student must:
Be a resident of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Be a high school graduate.
Be enrolled at a PHEAA-approved Pennsylvania School.
Maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative average or the equivalent during post-secondary study; to be checked annually.
Commence employment in PA in a field related to the student’s program within one year after that scholarship was awarded. (Please stop by the Financial Aid Office for more details)
Apply for a Federal Pell Grant and Pennsylvania State Grant.
For the 2001-2001Academic year, Application Deadline is December 31, 2001.
