Restaurant Review: Houlihan’s

Houlihan’s restaurant is located in the King of Prussia mall. Here you will find that they serve all American style cooking and you can except to pay between $12- $20 a person. Every night they have various specials including Mahi Mahi Burblanc and Bolanees meatballs. They have a children’s menu along with a full selection of alcoholic beverages and wines to choose from. The dessert menu is the best; cappuccino cake, crunch cake, candy sundae, and an upside down strawberry cheesecake are just a few of the selections you can find on the dessert tray.

Houlihan’s is a great family restaurant. On Tuesday nights there is a live band to set a festive mood. They also have karaoke night for some added entertainment.

Houlihan’s has a friendly atmosphere. They celebrate all holidays. Recently, on St. Patrick’s Day all of the employees were decked out in green clovers and crazy hats. They had shirts made just for the occasion. Houlihan’s is always open, even on major holidays such as Christmas Eve and Easter.

In previous reviews, people dining at Houlihan’s had mixed emotions. One review said the food was good, along with the service, while another review said that being a chain of restaurants, you would think the employees would be more customer oriented; there was poor service and there was never a manager in sight. They advised everyone to avoid this restaurant.

Every experience I have had, while eating at Houlihan’s has been pleasant. On a scale of one to ten, the food would rank an eight on the scale and service a nine. When the one man band was there he was so outstanding it made me want to just sit and enjoy the atmosphere. Since Houlihan’s is located in such a prestigious area, it tends to one of my first picks.

All together I give Houlihan’s four stars. I would recommend it to anyone, if they want good food and entertainment all for a reasonable price.
