To the Editor:
I just have to thank the staff of the Loquitur for the wonderful spread of articles discussing six Cabrini students’ experiences working through Habitat for Humanity to assist in the rebuilding of not only houses, but hearts and spirits in New Orleans.
These stories were beautifully candid, moving, and immensely inspirational. It was truly a gift to learn about the wonderful social outreach the Cabrini students participate in and through which they transform on so many different levels.
Thank you for highlighting the stories of these dedicated and socially conscious students. I love to be reminded that we should always have hope for our shared humanity can triumph above any and all pain and disaster.
