The lines are getting longer as Cabrini University‘s very own Sandella‘s brings out the newest dishes this school year. Students are thrilled to try the new meals.
Some of the new meals include the Tuscan chicken paninis, chipotle chicken wrap and rice bowls.
The tuscan chicken panini consists of grilled chicken, sun-dried tomatoes and red onions with mozzarella cheese inside. Inside the chipotle chicken wraps are grilled chicken, green leaf lettuce and tomatoes with ancho chipotle sauce.
All three of these meals are in a good price range for an average college student.
Separately, you can purchase a drink with your meal. There are a variety of drinks you can choose from. Some examples are lemonade, Pepsi, Gatorade, orange juice and more.
“I was wondering why the lines were incredibly long. Sandella’s looked pretty popular, so I had to see what was up,” transfer student Xavier Young said. “I purchased the tuscan panini. It was really good. They did not rush to make it. It was neat and had very good quality.”
With Cav’s Corner closing at 1 p.m., Sandella’s is a common second choice. It is also popular because it offers meals that can be grabbed quickly. Some students get their trays for on the go.
“Sometimes I have classes to get to class and I do not have enough time to sit down at the cafe to eat,” senior Johanny Lebron said. “So I have to rush to Sandella’s and get my rice bowl before class.”
