Is the iPhone 11 Pro bling or bust?

With Apple’s new iPhone product line around the corner, an intense game-changer comes with the new iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 pro. Typically changing the mobile device game, Apple has decided to slap on an extra camera to the iPhone 11 and an extra two cameras on the iPhone 11 pro. Challenging the loyalty to iPhones, this is what certain Cabrini students have to say about it.

Brian Beeker, said “It’s not worth the price tag it comes with. It might be a better phone in the model but if your phone isn’t broken then what is the point of even getting a new one”?

Morice Melven who is a 2019 graduate and recent alumni of Cabrini University was asked about the overall worth of the newest iPhone. In his response stated, “Honestly I think the older models are more reliable and sturdy but that’s it, I’ll have to think and do lots of research if I decide to get one but most likely it will be too much of a dent in my wallet.” Additionally, Morice added, “Yeah they lost it after Steve Jobs died.”

So far the students of Cabrini are not impressed with the overall value of the iPhone 11 and its presentation. The biggest focus of Cabrini students is not all about design or better performance. Price is the biggest concern. The iPhone 11 starts at a whopping $699.99, while the iPhone 11 pro climbs up to $999.

More students have many opinions on the overall design for the iPhone 11. Mary Ellen Brennen said, “I would never buy that trash of a phone. I hope Android doesn’t make the decision to have two or three cameras too or else I won’t know what to buy next after my phone breaks.”

Joe Hagen, sophomore computer science major, gave his opinions on the overall software design of the iPhone. “It is not impressive. I feel like they’ve run out of ideas because the only new things on the phone is a new operating system and more cameras. Apple just adds on to the last phone design and calls it revolutionary.”

When it comes to being a long term fan of Apple, many students of Cabrini are unimpressed with the iPhone 11. Additionally, many students are considering the iPhone 11 to be the final straw and are looking into a switch to Android phones in the long run.
