By Robert Riches
September 26, 2012

Martha Dale lived up to the College’s motto of “Do Something Extraordinary”

Martha Dale, longtime friend to the Cabrini community, succumbed to her long battle with cancer at 4:30 in the morning of Monday, Sept. 24.

Ms. Dale worked at the College for over 30 years and held job titles such as Director of Alumni Affairs as well as the Coordinator of Historical Projects for the College’s 50th anniversary celebration in 2007.

“Martha’s dedication was extraordinary; her gracious spirit reached far and wide and touched everyone,” Dr. Marie Angelella George stated in an email to alumni. “For knowing Martha, and for all that she gave to Cabrini College, we are very thankful.”

A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6 at St. John Presbyterian Church in Devon, Pa.
