A night out at the movies no matter who you are with, family, friends, girlfriends, or boyfriends. It’s something that always is a good way to have a good time and enjoy yourself. Lately, there have been really good movies showing in theaters across the country, like Race, Star Wars, Deadpool and so much more. No matter what movie it is, it seems to get a lot of good reviews for its talented actors and plot.

One movie here at Cabrini that really stuck out to most students was Deadpool. Deadpool, which stars Ryan Reynolds, Gina Carano, Morina Baccarin, and many others, is about a comic superhero named Wade Wilson given the name Deadpool, who is fighting with cancer and given powers to heal it. It has also given on The X-Men, which is another superhero based film similar to Deadpool.

The movie on the other hand for most people who saw it, came out with good reviews. It got four stars, and people state it as a funny heroic superhero film that gets you into motion on how one superhero has so much powers to those around him. The movie also got four stars and still bringing in so much audience members to it. “I liked the glory of it, they broke the fourth wall where they talk to you, which is what I really loved about it.” Senior Graphic Design Major Keith Marr said.

It’s weird that in some movies the characters can talk to you. Something like that sounds peculiar when you here that but it can happen in certain movies. Other Cabrini students even said the same thing about Deadpool being the go to movie that’s in theaters.

“I liked the violence and humor and the references to other Comic Book Movies and how he made fun of his former rolls.” Junior Political Science Major Kale Blindenbacher said.

Lots of movies currently in theaters really do get good reviews. Here at Cabrini, many students really looked up onto Deadpool, as their movie that most recently saw. If you ever have the opportunity to go to the movies, check out Deadpool, you’ll be glad you did.
