Women’s club and recreation sports lack involvement

For students who no longer wish to play sports at the collegiate level but still have a love for fun activity and want to keep that going, recreational sports are for them. At Cabrini, students are offered the option to join and participate in intramural, club sports and outdoor recreation. One thing that has been noticed, why is there a lack of women involvement in comparison to the men?

Brittany Sandone cherishes Cabrini memories

All-American honorable mention, CSAC player of the year, 1,000-point scorer and fifth place on the all-time scoring record. The list of accolades and awards stretching over the past four years goes on and on. Brittany Sandone, or “Britt” as her teammates and coaches called her, a Harleysville, Pa native and Cabrini class of 2014 graduate, said that if she could she would absolutely do it all over again.

Art department hosts first ever student art exhibit

Cabrini College will be having its first-ever student art exhibit that is open to all students. Other art shows feature the work of students in art courses and in the graphic design and fine arts department.

Sandra Vasquez joins Cabrini’s office of admissions

According to the 2013-2014 undergraduate catalog, 21 percent of Cabrini’s full-time students are of a racial or ethnic minority. To help raise this number, the college decided to create a new position in admissions known as a multicultural recruiter.

Alpha Delta Gamma receives national award

Alpha Delta Gamma is currently the only Fraternity at Cabrini. This past summer the chapter received the “Most Improved Chapter” award at the National Convention, which took place in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Stetler enjoying his new position in faculty support

Cabrini has added several new staff members to the college. Rick Stetler, who received his master's degree from Cabrini, is now the new Faculty Support Operations Specialist.
