Brother Dominic Wetzel, Gina Mulranen take the crown at Mr. and Miss Cabrini Pageant

After much anticipation, the annual Mr. and Miss Cabrini Pageant was held in Grace Hall on Nov. 11. This year's Mr. and Miss Cabrini are Brother Dominic Wetzel and Gina Mulranen. Hosted by CAP Board, the event was a huge success as students, parents and faculty headed over to watch the 2009 candidates compete for the title.

‘FirstGlance’ film festival showcases inspiring filmmakers’ work

After much anticipation, the annual "FirstGlance" independent film festival took place at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia from Oct. 22 to Oct. 25. It was a great turnout for the 12th annual film festival, as crowds of people rushed to the scene on all nights of the event.

New York Yankees dominate ALCS The Yankees defeated the Angels in game four of the ALCS. After three days of rest, CC Sabathia proved himself to his team and delivered the heat which led his team to a 10-1 victory over the Angels. Sabathia lasted eight innings and only allowed a solo homerun by Kendry Morales.

Raffle: the Cavaliers’ newest addition

Senior communication major and midfielder Brian Raffle has been playing soccer since the age of 4. He has an incredible love for the game and he has accomplished a lot over the years. Raffle attended Christopher Dock High School and started all four years.

Cavs end game in stalemate

On Wednesday, Sept. 23, the men's soccer team started off under the favor of Franklin & Marshall as they put up a goal on the scoreboard with just 21 minutes passing by. It was off a restart from 30 yards out when Franklin & Marshall's Eric Corsini scored the goal with the assist from Matt Krantz.

Gapinski earns 4th at XC Invitational

Junior Diane Gapinksi placed fourth overall at the Immaculata University Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 17 with a time of 21:09. She guided the Cabrini women's cross country team to a fifth place finish on the wet and muddy race course against twelve other teams.
