Roommates: Can’t live with ’em can’t live without ’em

One of the first things that students going away to college think about is living in a dorm room with a roommate...or two. They wonder if they will get along or if they will become friends. The last thing that anyone wants is the "roommate-from-hell." For lots of people, the ideal roommate situation would be like the characters on "Friends," lasting and life-long friendships.

Johnny Cabo’s restaurant, bar is the students’ place to be

Bored and have nothing to do? Head on over to Johnny Cabos's, a casual restaurant/bar located on Sugartown Road. This Tex-Mex themed eatery has a relaxed atmosphere, with dim lighting, smoking and non-smoking sections, two floors, and a fully-stocked bar. It also offers different kinds of foods for every type of person.

Friendship and its importance

To me, and probably many of you, friendship is the most important thing in my life, after my family. Besides my friends here at school, I have my "crew" back home. I consider these girls to be a significant part of my life. I go to them with my problems, we laugh together and cry together.

89.1 degrees of radio

So you wanna listen to some great music? Then tune into 89.1 WYBF-FM The Burn, Cabrini College's very own on-campus radio station! If you were around on Commuter Appreciation Day, which was held on Wednesday, Sept. 15, you might have seen the WYBF crew there, handing out prizes and playing music.

Science professor defies anti-female convention

There have been several new additions to Cabrini this year, not including the freshmen class of 2007. Dr. Lisa Chirlian is a new chemistry professor. She is a friendly person who clearly cares about her students and wants them to succeed. Chirlian is from New Jersey and attended Stevens Tech College there.
