The Cabrini women’s basketball team lost its season opener to Eastern University 72-61 in the Battle of Eagle Road. The loss puts the Lady Cavaliers at 0-1 to start the season.
The Philadelphia 76ers have begun their 2014-2015 campaign and as expected the 76ers are for lack of a better word, awful. The young 76ers have started out the season with an 0-7 record and will face the Dallas Mavericks on Nov.13. The sixers will likely start out 0-8 after facing a tough Dallas Mavericks team.
The Philadelphia Eagles are now 6-2 after their win over the Houston Texas on Sunday, Nov. 2, the Eagles are currently in first place in the NFC East. That’s the good news. The bad news is that injuries continue to plague the Birds. Starting linebacker Demeco Ryans is out for the season with an Achilles injury. But the biggest story is the broken collarbone injury that will sideline starting quarterback Nick Foles for at least a month.

After beating Widener University in their home opener 3-0, the Cabrini volleyball team traveled to Washington, D.C. for the weekend to play in the 18th annual Catholic University Guetle Invitational. The Lady Cavs had a successful tournament, leaving with a 3-1 record.
