Recently I watched a film on the Lifetime channel called "The Pregnancy Pact." I can honestly say that the film disturbed me in many ways; it also triggered a lot of my thinking about young women in society. The film is about a reporter who returns to her old hometown to document why the pregnancy rate has gone up in her previous community.

As a student here at Cabrini, I can honestly say I haven't experienced any racism on campus. Although some of my friends claim to have experienced situations where they feel they were treated differently because of their race, I always differ. Sometimes as a student, topics about race in a classroom discussion can cause some feelings of awkwardness especially when your race or culture's short comings are the predominant topic of discussion.
