Truth about tasers
Over the past few years, critics of the taser have been calling into question whether or not the stun-gun should be recognized as a non-lethal weapon. In comparison police feel it is a safer tool to use on a human being than a loaded firearm.

College students battle with stress
Eighty percent of college students feel stress in their daily lives, according to a recent survey.
Of those 80 percent of students feeling stress, the results from the poll showed that 63 percent could not get their schoolwork done, 55 percent did not feel up to hanging out with their friends and one-third of those students felt as though they were failures or let people down.
Cabrini recognized for commitment to community
For the second year in a row, Cabrini College was named to the second annual President's Higher Education Community Honor Roll with Distinction for General Community Service on Feb. 27.
Being one of only seven colleges and universities in Pennsylvania and 127 nationwide to be named to the Honor Roll with Distinction, Cabrini proved to be once again a strong leader in community service among universities nationwide.
Avoid getting sick this spring
Yuck! Being sick is the worst. Even if you only have a minor sore throat, being ill takes its toll.
When you feel under the weather, it can create a day that feels so long and torturous that you want to just crawl under the covers immediately.
First starts the sore throat then continuing on to a headache and temperature.
Early Year Abroad program compelling but unrealistic
While most colleges offer the typical orientation for freshmen, Princeton University plans to send a large group of its freshmen abroad.
"Princeton University is working to create a program to send a tenth or more of its newly admitted [freshman] students to a year of social service work in a foreign country before they set foot on campus as freshman," according to an article titled "Princeton Plans for an Early Year Abroad," by New York Times reporter Karen Arenson about a program starting in 2009.
Campus offers fair trade bananas
In the past two years Cabrini has begun to offer fair trade coffee. This year, Sodexho Food Services' contribution to fair trade has become even more significant because Cabrini is now one of the few college campuses that offer fair trade bananas.
Coffee is no longer the only fair trade product offered at Cabrini.
