Cafeteria worker bonds with students

Marijuana debate brings out large crowd (Video)

The Cabrini Activities Programming Board sponsored a debate over the legalization of marijuana titled "Heads vs. Feds." Bob Stutman, a former CIA and DEA agent, and Steven Hager, editor-in-chief of High Times magazine, were the two speakers voicing their opinions either supporting or arguing against the use of marijuana.

Writing center lends a hand to students

The office is plain and simple, not filled with degrees from different colleges, or awards that have been earned over the years. Not the type of office one would expect from such an accomplished woman. Susan Waller, the coordinator of the writing center, is a new entity to Cabrini.

Bush gains confidence after winning popular vote

After the 2004 election, President George W. Bush feels that his presidency can no longer be viewed as an accident. It is said that there were two insecurities lingering with the president since the 2000 election. "There were a large number of people who did not view him as a legitimate president, and there was the specter of his father's loss," said an adviser of the Bush campaign.

‘Real World’ not so real for student

The controversial reality television show, "The Real World," has landed in Philadelphia for its 15th season to see what the city of brotherly love has to offer. Due to Cabrini's close location to the large city, there are many students enrolled at the school hailing from Philly.

New softball coach joins Lady Cavaliers

The women's softball team's familiar traditions and superstitions shared with former coach, Karen Pelkey, were swiftly converted to just memories for the players this upcoming season. For undisclosed personal reasons, Pelkey resigned from the head coach position.

Athletic Department reacts to LaSalle’s rape scandal

Cabrini College fears that the plague of sexual controversy that overwhelmed LaSalle University will spread to its peaceful campus. Three rape cases pointed the finger at LaSalle's men's basketball players. The Cabrini Athletic Department is now taking precautionary measures to ensure this type of problem will not occur among Cabrini athletes.
