Every new year is the same, new resolutions made by people that have a semi-commitment to them. After about a month or two people realize they are right back into their normal routine and have no time to run that extra mile at the gym or even attend the gym at all that day.
This new year has brought a lot of new trends. Whether you are trying to fit into those new pair of jeans or that cute new top your aunt gave you as a Christmas present it is no secret that new trends have been on the rise this new year.
Some stores have already been advertising their spring collections. Unfortunately this cold weather is not going away anytime soon. Dressing fashionably while being in the cold is a somewhat tricky thing to do. While preparing yourself to step outside in the cold, sweaters are always a smart choice to put under your puffy jacket. If you really want to make that look more than just wearing a sweater, pair that with a flannel under your sweater will help dress your look up. Let the flannel hang out of the bottom of your sweater for a layered look. You are able to match that sweater-flannel combo with leggings or jeans.
What seems to be trending this season for shoes are booties worn with jeans. I personally favor the TOM wedge booties, which are a reasonable price, not to mention how comfortable these shoes are. They are perfect for wearing with a casual day outfit or wear them when you want to add a little extra height to yourself when you are going out with some friends. These are available at a lot of different major department stores such as Macy’s and Nordstrom.
Statement necklaces have been around for a long time and this season people have been choosing to wear them with a lot of their outfits. You are able to pair them with almost any of your outfits because there is such a variety of them including subtile ones and some that are a bit more flashy. Keep your eyes out for these new trends this season.
