Campus prepares for Christmastime

Getting ready for the holiday season? Here’s a few activities on campus that will get you into the Christmas spirit!

Christmas Shopping Trip to NYC: In need of some Christmas shopping? For only $10 dollars, you can spend the entire day in New York. Purchase your ticket in the SEaL office in Widener. The bus will leave Cabrini at 12 p.m. and return around 9:30 p.m.

Christmas Choral Concert: Enjoy the joyful songs sung by the Cabrini College Chorus during the Christmas Choral Concert. The concert will be held on Sunday, Dec. 2 in the Grace Hall Atrium at 3 p.m. Bring your holiday spirit and enjoy an afternoon of holiday cheer!

Christmas at Cabrini: Exclusive to the families of Cabrini alumni. Experience Christmas at Cabrini with festive treats, crafts with the elves, live Christmas music and photos with Santa inside the mansion! The event will be held Sunday.

December 2, 1-3 p.m. Outside, a horse-drawn carriage awaits to take you and your family on a ride around campus. Tickets are currently sold out. Sign up for the wait list here.

Tree Lighting Ceremony: The College will host it’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Monday, Dec. 3. outside of the Holy Spirit Library. A yule log will be lit as well. Refreshments such as hot apple cider, hot chocolate and Christmas cookies will be served. WYBF will be on hand to play some Christmas music.

Student Holiday Party: Hosted by President George, the Student Holiday Party brings together all of the three holidays celebrated during the holiday season. The party will be held in the Mansion on Thursday, Dec. 6 from 7 p.m until 9 p.m. There will be hors d ‘oeuvres and refreshments served. Students will be able to participate in a Lighting of the Menorah, take pictures with Santa and enjoy the L-i-v-e Drum Beats Leading to the Lighting of the Kinara! Wear your finest holiday attire and colors of the season and come celebrate the holidays with your friends and classmates!
