Lil Kim with a queen bee attack

Queen Bee attacks and her sting is bigger than ever. Lil’ Kim debuts her third album and this time she’s going hard on this 16 track album.

Her first album Hardcore was an instant classic due to her mentor’s influence, the late and great Notorious B.I.G. It was thought to be that B.I.G. a.k.a. Biggie wrote all of her hardcore lyrical skills and therefore Lil’ Kim’s credit was under Biggie’s. The following year, the Notorious B.I.G. was gunned downed and Lil’ Kim was left alone to deliver her sophomore album alone.

Her second album Notorious K.I.M. was a dedication to his greatness yet her album flopped. Her rhymes were not edgy and as classical as Hardcore. Therefore everyone believed Biggie wrote all of her rhymes.

La Bella Mafia, Kim’s third project, takes us back to Hardcore with edgy, sexy, and raunchy lyrics that puts her back as a top competitor for the Queen of Rap. This time there’s no P. Diddy or Junior Mafia. Guest appearances include the new wave of Hip-Hop, Queens native 50 Cent, who collaborates on “The Magic Stick,” a song that will definitely make you bob your head. Her first single, “The Jump Off” featuring Mr. Cheeks, is playing heavily in the clubs and on radios and high on The Billboard Charts. Other guests include Styles P, Twista, Swizz Beatz, Havoc, Missy Elliott, Mashonda, and Lil Kim’s new team “Gotti Kids,” whose lyrics are way better than her old crew Junior Mafia. Make sure you listen to tracks 15 and 16, where we see the real Kim as she throws daggers at Foxy Brown and Eve.

Lil Kim brought it back and as the Queen of Rap, she currently holds the throne. Make sure you buy “La Bella Mafia.”
