October 5, 2010

Rob Riches, freshman communication major- “I think it’s going to be Roy Halladay. He has been phenomenal all year. He finished with 20 wins, pitched a perfect game and had a ton of complete games. What more could you ask for?”

Jared DeBlois, sophomore business administration major- “Carlos Ruiz. He has been one of our most clutch players the past few years and he has to handle that entire pitching staff.”

John Crouse, sophomore business major- “Call me crazy, but I’m going to say Jimmy Rollins. He’s had a disappointing year, but that can all be forgotten if he turns it on in the playoffs.”

Bill Uditsky, sophomore accounting major- “Roy Halladay. He’s been beating people all year and making it look too easy.”

Alexandria Jeter, sophomore communication major- “Chase Utley. He hasn’t had a great season by his standards, but I think now that the playoffs are here, he’ll intensify his play a bit.

Thomas Biddle, sophomore history and political science major- “I think the entire pitching staff needs to step up. Halladay has never been in the playoffs and Oswalt hasn’t played in the playoffs in about five years. It will be interesting to see if those guys can contribute like they did in the regular season.
