After many years of going in and out of successful seasons, losing key players, hiring a new coach, and fan bases that are always eager to share their opinions on the team; the Eagles are finally ready to soar.

In the Eagles preseason opener they faced the Indianapolis Colts, and the score was only half the surprise when the game ended. The final score was 36-10, and it was from two rookies and Tim Tebow that the game ended the way it did.

Tim Tebow, a new face of the Eagles, impressed more than just the coaches. This gave fans the hope that Tebow could be the answer to the Eagles having a successful season this year. As of now after this game Tim Tebow is going to be the most talked about player after this game.

According to bleedinggreennation.com, during the game Tim Tebow completed six of 12 passes for 69 yards, and he took three sacks. The highlight of the game was  when Tebow ran for a seven yard touchdown late in the fourth quarter following a fumble from the Colts.

As fans gear up for the games to come Brittany Smith, a sophomore states, “I am excited for this upcoming season, and that with Tim Tebow on the team,  I think he is going to do a lot of big things for us.”

In the Eagles third preseason game against the Green Bay Packers the Eagles pulled ahead with a final score of 39-26.

In this game the new star quarterback to be Sam Bradford according to espn.go.com  was 10 for 10 for 121 yards, and three touchdowns. Although Bradford just came off tearing his ACL twice in a 10-month span he kept the Eagles humming against the Packers.

Chip Kelly states on espn.go.com that ” I didn’t have any doubts on Sam, so i’m not concerned what people outside think.”

The Eagles have their first game against the Atlanta Falcons on Monday, Sept. 14th, they face the Atlanta Falcons at the Mercedes Benz Stadium. The team has made a lot of changes lately and are coming off a successful preseason. The Eagles are now ready to start what looks to be a very competitive regular season play.

“It’s the best- looking team that they have ever had so far” sophomore Victoria Marchiani says. The fans have faith in the Eagles and are ready for the regular season to begin. People want to see if the changes will answer the call that the Eagles need to make it to the super bowl this February.
