Politicians need to change their ways for new generation

At what age do you start to form your political identity?

Politics is known to be such a touchy subject when discussing your views to someone with different views.

Is our generation known to be clue less on politics? How can you have knowledge on a particular subject when no one is allowed to talk about it?

Politics can be a sensitive subject for some people because everyone has their own views and beliefs. With our generation today, social media has become a very important factor in our lives. Young people gravitate more towards their social network accounts rather than keeping up with current events. If you were to ask someone from this generation their view on a political topic, they might not be fully aware of the issue.

For example, the views of gay marriage vary among ages. Young people today are more accepting of the issue due to the broadcasting and televised aspect of it. Social media plays a huge role in politics for the younger members of society. Politicians are aware of the difference in views among generations. Today, politicians are now using social media as ways to attract the younger people and get them more involved and educated in world news.

Politicians all have their own way of going about discussing different topics. Each have their own arguments and have topics they feel strongly about. People feel that politicians don’t always give you the full and honest truth. They will give you answers, but not the one you are looking for. To be completely honest, politicians are not the most liked people in the world. Our society feels that the politicians don’t act according to what they say. This new generation also might think that they don’t relate or care about our beliefs.

From generation to generation, politics have always led to different conflicts. These conflicts can turn into messy situations, and can lead into bigger issues. People will always disagree with each other, and won’t be able to find a common ground on topics. Both sides argue and stick to their beliefs because they do not want the other side to win.

Politics have always been the most argued and talked about subject in society. As long as there are different sides and different views, our world will always have politics. Times will change and different generations will come along. That being said, politicians will have to adapt to the newer generations.
