‘Waltz’ weighs in as humorous hit

A waltz it is; outrageously comical and intelligently written, this play is a delightful jaunt through the realistic life of Cinderella, or “Cinderslut.” “Cinderella Waltz,” the all-student production at Cabrini has proven itself to be quite enjoyable for any audience, young and old and in between.

“I thought the play to be original, a fairy tale for the 21st century,” senior Jose Jalandoni who experienced “Cinderella Waltz” on opening night said.

This farce of “Cinderella” keeps the audience entertained through the unexpected portrayal of the familiar childhood characters such as the Fairy Godmother and Cinderella.
