October is Fair Trade month and on Oct. 18, 19 and 25, students will be participating in Cabrini’s annual Wallyball Tournament.

The Fair Trade ambassadors CRS and the Finance Association host the Wallyball Tournament every year.

“The walleyball tournament isn’t done to raise money; it’s more of an event to promote Fair Trade and get students excited about how they can make better financial choices to support the workers,” Kerry Allaire, senior major and CRS Fair Trade ambassador, said.

There will be two days of first rounds before the actual tournament. From Oct. 18 to Oct. 19, the first rounds will be played.  The name of the winning team engraved will be displayed all year in the Dixon Center.

There will be two rounds played before the actual tournament from Oct. 18 to Oct. 19.

Fair Trade banana splits will be served in in the Marketplace before the game.

The top two teams from the first round will move on to the championships. The championship game will be played on Monday, Oct. 25, at 3:30-5:30 P.M.
