The War;The honor of Protesting

By Staff Writer
March 20, 2003

I’d like to introduce myself by 2 titles:1st an activist & 2nd a concerned parent. My daughter is a junior & I have raised her to love not just her country but all it stands for. ALL THE FREEDOMS! It is her honor & duty to protest against a war & still be supportive of the men & women who serve. If she cannot protest safely then our solders should come home & protect her from the war criminals who are creating fear in this country-Is this not what we are “fighting ” for? …So that others may have the freedoms we have. If the real reason is oil then I can see why she is being harassed, but if the real reason for our presence in Iraq is freedom then allow the peace demonstraters demonstrate in peace.
