Stem cell research: A true story

Megan Pellegrino

This is a story of a woman’s life that was changed by stem cells. After years of suffering from Multiple Scelerosis, in 2007 Betty Helm, the founder of “Stem Cells For Hope,” traveled to Shenzhen, China for an adult stem cell injection procedure. Helm was left with no choice but to travel to the Far East since stem cell procedures in the U.S. are surprisingly far more dangerous.
