Mallory Terrence: Asst. Operations Manager

Mallory Terrence is the assistant operations manager of 89.1 WYBF, The Burn. You can listen to Mallory ‘s weekly show, Totally Mixed Up with Mallory, every Thursday from 2pm-4pm at WYBF.com.

Her show has a different variety of music ranging from the Beatles to Taylor Swift, occasionally throwing in some loud rock. Anyone listening to her show is welcomed to call in and request a song to be played.

Not only does she show contain different types of music but also a weekend planner with what’s going on at Cabrini, what’s going on in Philly, and Mallory’s top choice, possibly something you would be interested in doing. If you are a listener to Mallory’s show and end up attending the events run by The Burn, you could be lucky enough to get a free T-shirt or pen.

Currently Mallory is an executive member as a Junior, English and Communications major, and she looks to move up to Operations Manager her senior year. Mallory does a lot of the behind the scenes radio work, where she helps promote events on campus, takes photos, creates posters, makes banners and encourages people to listen to The Burn.

Mallory enjoys being involved in the radio, where there are enjoyable people and a laid back atmosphere. Mallory is looking to find an internship with a Radio station, then from there hopefully a career in Radio in the future. She enjoys doing behind the scenes work and dealing with the music. Her goal in the future is to make an auto documentary, which wins awards.

Mallory is not only actively involved with the radio but she is also the Editor in Chief for Cabrini’s newspaper, The Loquitur. Mallory is working hard each week, whether in the newsroom writing articles or at the radio station making sure everything is running smoothly.
