How to: Make buttercream frosting

Step One: At room temperature, combine 16 tablespoons of unsalted butter, four cups of confectioner’s

sugar, one teaspoon of whole milk, one teaspoon of pure vanilla extract and 1/8 teaspoon of salt into

a large bowl.

Step Two: Mix all ingredients together for three to fi ve minutes.

Step Three: Add 1 to 3 teaspoons of whole milk depending on how light the frosting is.

Step Four: Mix for two more minutes until frosting is light and airy.

Ingredients

• Unsalted butter

• Sifted confectioner’s sugar

• Whole milk

• Pure vanilla extra
