Celebrity Antics

It is a well-known fact that celebrities these days are not the most well behaved people around. Take for example Britney Spears, someone who is no stranger to odd behavior.

A recent article published by Heckler Spray explains how Spears’ father will control all of her possessions until the end of time.

While Spears has had her fair share of problems, students feel that it is somewhat out of line that Spears’ father will be controlling his adult daughters possessions.

“I think she is old enough to make her own decisions and her father should mind his own business,” freshman special education major Allison Gentry said.

While Spears has had her fair share of problems, some say that her actions are merely to gain attention.

“I think she does it for attention, you don’t hear about her for awhile and then she reappears, its like when she doesn’t have anything else to do or any news songs to write, she pretends to be crazy to keep the attention on her,” freshman criminology major Jess McCabe said.

Spears is not alone in her crazy antics. Other celebrities have captured the attention of many through their crazy actions. From Russell Crowe’s temper tantrum to Brad Pitt dying his hair platinum, celebrities have their own ways of getting attention.

“I think celebrities do things to get attention, because they can, do whatever they want and not get in trouble,” Gentry said.

Others have similar yet differing opinions. “I think they act out because of stress-like Heath Ledger, he was under too much stress which resulted in his death,” freshman undeclared major Caite Collins said.

No matter what the cause of celebrities’ actions may be, their crazy antics are here to stay.
