Human trafficking: global concern

When we think about slavery and cruelty inflicted upon humans most of us think back to the early history of our country. Most of us wouldn't even dream of slavery and the trafficking of people happening in the United States today. The truth is, right now in our country, maybe even in your own town, human beings are being trafficked into forced labor and prostitution.

Editorial: Economic crisis makes health insurance costly

With the current economic crisis, the high cost of health care has become a daunting expense for both individuals and companies. For more and more Americans, health insurance has become an impossible expense. When we graduate, we may find that our employers will no longer give us health benefits.

Editorial: Cabrini Missionary Sisters: Silent Heroes

Most students know Cabrini College was named after Mother Cabrini. Few of us know exactly who she was and why she was so important. Students don't understand that there are Cabrini sisters all over the globe, working everyday, continuing the work that Mother Cabrini had started.

Editorial: Ongoing hunger crisis forces developing countries further into poverty

Editorial: Historic election brings change to White House

Regardless of your political party affiliation and who you voted for on Nov. 4, change in the White House is coming. Whether or not it is the change you wanted, does the future of our country really now depend on just one man? Editorial: Genocide still present in Darfur, student activism to generate support

Never again, the world collectively agreed after 10 million were killed during the Nazi persecution. Never again would the world sit back and let an innocent ethnic group die. Never again would the world allow genocide. The promise of "never again" has done nothing and has allowed millions to lose theirs lives to genocide.

EDITORIAL: Too much too fast?

Cabrini's desire to be the latest and greatest institution has resulted in widespread disapproval. The argument for the amount of living space has grown quite old during the past few years.
