Senior’s last words

Lately, I've asked myself, "What do you want to do with your life, Rosie?" Less than 50 days down the road from today, I will be walking out of Cabrini and never looking back. I would have already completed my four years of college and should be well on my way to the "real world.

SGA lacks voters

This year, the Student Government Association dedicated its' time to test out a new electoral process for its candidates. Students were able to vote for their new representatives, online, on the Cabrini One portal. The elections covered the week of March 23 - March 25, which gave students the opportunity to vote on several different days.

Terrorist attacks abroad tie to U.S.

On the morning of Thursday, March 11, a series of 10 explosives were set off on the train system in Madrid, Spain. The blasts killed approximately 190 people and harmed over 1800. According to CNN.com, 3/11 - as the Spaniards have decided to call it - was the worst terrorist attack in their history.

Medical insurance an issue for college students

College students will be surprised when they are thrust into the real world and have to find health coverage. Imagine living independently from parents or guardians and not having a full-time job because you are busy being a full-time student. Cabrini students have the opportunity to buy out the school's insurance for $1,402.

Cautious words to fickle friends

You may think that you know your friends completely, but I have learned the hard way that people can change with the snap of a finger. It may be because of other influences that they have in their lives or maybe it's just part of the growing process. In my 21 years, I have thought to be close to various amounts of people, but have found out that in getting too close to some may cause me heartache in the end.

Missing the best dad in the world

What is it like to lose someone you love? It's VERY hard to deal with. Words cannot describe or express the emotions you feel. Right now, some people are reading this and probably thinking that I'm talking about your first love or your significant other, but I'm not.

On Monday, Sept. 15 through Wednesday, Sept. 17, members of the Student Government Association were found spending half their days, sitting above the Founder's Hall, second-floor steps. Elections were being held for new officers. Just like with any other election, the officials - or current SGA members - were trying to get everyone and anyone involved with the voting process.
